BuildDesk 2.0 RC2: bundled samples, bugfixes

Download build 895 Now BuildDesk is bundled with two sample projects based on IntelliJ IDEA and NetBeans so you could start playing with BuildDesk right after downloading: Everything is preconfigured, so just run the build to see the magic. It's also a bug fix update, so the release is expected to be in a few days.

BuildDesk 2.0 RC

Download build 882 NetBeans support is fully ready to use! Now all the things that BuildDesk does for IntelliJ IDEA it does for NetBeans. Just import NetBeans project to BuildDesk and make a ready-to-use build script in minutes. Alongside this exciting news, there are two noticable new features implemented for the both platforms:
  • Change import source - either source IntelliJ IDEA project or NetBeans set of projects. This feature can be found at the "Settings" page in the BuildDesk's interface (i.e. for an IntelliJ IDEA project):
  • Support for language levels settings for modules/projects.
The release of BuildDesk 2.0 is expected to be out in a week. All customers who bought one of the prior version will be provided with a free upgrade.

BuildDesk 2.0 early access is open

Download build 829 We are glad to announce that BuildDesk 2.0 is open for public early access. For this time we implemented NetBeans project importing. It's still under development but it already works fine: So on the start page you will see a new option: It will pop up the NetBeans import dialog: And the rest of the BuildDesk's magic is the same, no matter if you imported IntelliJ IDEA project or NetBeans. We are also improving many other features such as installer custom steps and custom properties support. All of that will be available in nearest early access builds. So keep in touch, we will be back soon with more features!
